Holidays smashed!
Now my holiday plans have been crushed. Don't you hate it when someone else wanted the days as you do when there are like 365days to chose from?

Don't worry. The first step is acceptance. Once you accept then you just keep working with no holiday, you will get used to Singapore life and would also rather encash leave.
It's all about getting used to the work culture and ethic here in SG. All the HR and all the other staff are used to it this way. That's why you feel out of place because your perspective is different from the majority.
