Sunday's treat
Was raining heavily on Friday night but the girls still decided to go Harbourtown for late night shopping. Guilty me cannot resists buying 5 tops for less than 20 bucks. Good deal hey. I know I shouldn't buy so much stuffs as I am relocating pretty soon. Sigh*
Saturday was so bored as usual. Weather was not that fantastic till Cara sms-ed me to ask if I wanna go Relay for life to volunteer as a podiatrist to treat people's sore feet after the runs. Relay for life is an annual event whereby people just keep running continuously for 24 hours (of course, they take turns to do that) on track as part of fundraising on cancer foundation.
Massage and facial are sunday's treat. But this China aunty really can massage very hard on my body and till now, I am still aching all over. I never felt so much that I had to endure that high level of pain.
Met some of my classmates earlier on at a pub. The strange thing is...only one person orders a coke and the rest are not drinking. I do feel like buying a pint and then again, what's the point of buying it since the rest looks as if they are on some 'financial burden'. Whatever, that generally turns me off from buying any drinks which I rather to drink my Fosters at home. I can't also imagine how contented my classmates can be by working nurses homes and senior citizens. I would say they are the worst jobs - it kinda screw up your back on long run with too much bending down and reaching their toes...grrr.
Freda's aunty was nice to speak to me about tips leaving in Sydney and car transport matters. Indirectly that reminds me of a g.f of mine who can't forget about G. I hope Ah Jxx will be strong and move on. It's better off this way than having yourself trapped on some shameless dudes. Tell me where is that brain-washed machine.......
Hullo! This is Mdm Flatfeet and my boobs are not flat. *Disclaimer: Any events or incidents as described here are purely frictional or in my pre/post manic stage.

Daily grinder(s)
Went to Northam today with Pip to work at a nursing home. *EEKS* No, I don't feel any excitment working in palliative area. That's why I've bought a ticket to Sydney and planned to relocate in May to work for a friend's private practice. Not sure why but I am not particularly over-excited as compared to the first time I arrived in Perth. There are still a number of things that I have to do prior moving though.
Sub-grinders:
1) Knn that Dark- blue Lancer Asian driver who deliberately blocked my view that I can't turn my car on the right. Oh did I mention that he is from Curtin Uni.
2) This elderly folk refused to let me cut her nails on her left foot after I managed her right one. Fine by me......plus she tried to hit me! Violent grandma on the alert mode....
3) Rea from Hungary was soo sweet. She bought me a ultra sexy rose pink top from MNG.Plus it was sent via registered post as a prezzie for my b'day. ;p VN also sent me a sexy top from SUPRE with lotsa glitter beads on the v-neck halter. If only my perfect accessory is Mr 'Hunky' to go along. Don't think if it ever exists in the first place.
4) JT has been really encouraging and totally supporting my decision to Syd over da email. So sweet of him..... VN can't wait for me to get my butt to eastern side. Vien also agreed with the moving for the reason being work exposure.
Suddenly the thought of having char kway tiao and satay come into my mind..... i miss home!

Easter Vigil
Long easter break in Perth = higher chance of becoming a couched potato. This dullsillive is getting on my nerves. Like what my dentist g.f said, move over to the Eastern state where all the actions are. Went over to D's place to play dia dee and was great to see Wei/Tos playing it well. Slacked the whole of Saturday except did some readings on foot journals. Then again, that wasn't really ..uhm..happening. Just came back from a cycling trip and got a few mild bruises induced from F - Miss Bicycle Accident Prone. Learnt my lesson not to stand so close to her just in case the history repeats itself. Guess her temperature must be on the rise if she ever reads this. It's the truth.
Gonna do a movie marathon (3 movies) tonight with the girls and one dude.1st show will start at 11.30pm and I should be home by 7am. Whoppie! Better off than watching the aussie Teevee which generally sux on weekends and public holiday.
Was chatting with Mr France yesterday. So strange when he typed in his French English like this:" what's wrong with you and the men? You are bubbly, jovial and easy going."
By the way, Mr France is already taken by Slyvie. I chose my reply to be:" Most guys are too coward - to approach or break the ice. I guess something is wrong with them and not me.As far as I know, I am just being..me." From there, Mr France reassured me that the right guy will come along eventually and that goes the same for Kurdt who said exactly the same thing. It's nice to see how my friends are expressing their concerns on me.
Told Pa and Ma about my plans to relocate to Sydney. Not much comments from them except Dad wants me to go back in another year's time. Uhm................we shall see then.
Diana Krall's concert is coming on the 8th April. Should I or not?

Bitc*
I went to the Perth Local Court to submit my forms today. Now all I have to do is to sit back and relax for previous owner to respond. She even has the guts to ask me to wash the carport stains. Hello, I've left the house since 2 months ago. Who knows which TOM, DICK, HARRY parked the car with their engine oil leaking. Morever, doesn't she understand that it's normal to have a bit of oil leak from the car. Indirectly from the engine and perhaps, can be resulted from the cooler that drips onto the engine. What actually piss me off is this under-go training bitc* who missed calling my number and in the end, the person after me actually got ahead of me first. What? Sorry? Thank goodness I didn't get a carpark fine and if not, I'll definitely write a letter of complaint and you can kiss ya job goodbye. Aussie has such a poor standard of being efficient. This observation come from my years of staying in Aust and when it comes to servicing the customers, it's definitely heading the last position.
Perth's weather shot up to 41.9 degree celsius....... So ultimate hot that I didn't even feel like eating lunch. Worked at the women's prison today... Didn't kinda like the place ;(

Am I missing something?
It's been a week since I am back from Singapore. Work has been quite fairly easy and the worst is working in nursing homes. It just somehow makes you reflect that another few more decades down the road, you would probably end up stiffen in bed, suffering from certain level of immobility, leg/s emputated due to lower limb complication or speech difficulty. sigh*
I don't get the challenge and definitely no sense of satisfaction unlike those I've worked in Singapore.
On the miracle side, J rang me and offered me a position in his private practice in Castle Hill, Sydney. Few days later, he rang again and asked if I wanna take over the job at Hospital Hornsby. Well, after staying in Perth for close to 5 years, I reckon it's about time to make a move to greener pasture.
-By the way, Straits time is charging an online subscription! WTF*** Who the hell will do that and now that goes my regular website.
Went on a cycling trip from my place to the city last Sunday. The whole journey took abut 45 mins one way. Weather was absolutely beautiful with cool breeze. While waiting for the rest of the folks for an indian veg buffet, F and myself decided to get an ice-cream. This uncle asked if we are singaporeans and it's always nice to meet the locals overseas. Give us extra toppings with larger scoops ;p The best is he manages a perth budget stay deal. That will come in handy for sure.

Recap on last Friday
After meeting Yvoone, all of us took a train down to City hall while Wen went over to Kembangan to meet her friends. Vone and myself are supposed to meet a group of healthcare worker. Anyway, we met up and had dinner at BakersInn. It was great catching up with everyone and especially Shanshan. However, shan2 had to rush off for her night duty at SGH. Nevertheless, we finally met!Had a good chat with Edwin, Shan and Azmi too.
It was 9pm that we had to depart coz vone and myself gotta meet another group of my g.fs+partners+more friends at Balaclava. I think I am totally underdressed. Not saying that I am in my knickers but the dressing for that day looks totally casual and unglamour.Just think that I am wearing this Esprit white tank top with a seablue chequered skirt and mesh sequine white slip ons.Oh, and a simple pony tail...
Fantastic time dunking hoegarden with all da friends (around more than 10 of them)...Met up with D as well with his mates. Got introduced to J .It was quite surprising to see J coz i used to work with him in the same hospital ages ago. Vone treated me burbeon coke and topshell-VERY YUMMY. After makaning , we move on to get a place to stand. As you can tell how popular bala is.Happened tat J is around so basically we just started rattling rubbish about operating theatres and anasthesia.
Later on, one big fat ugly angmog( much guessed as a British from his accent) asked if I want a drink. I declined his offer politely. The next thing is he started raising his voice like this :" come on! what's wrong!?"Obviously, I was almost being irritated to the max so I held onto J's arm and hopefully he will leave me alone. But no, he went on and yelled:" oh that's your g.f, you should give her a big kiss!." I rolled up my eyes for a moment. What an idoitic pig headed man. Hugged J and D as they are leaving Bala. Went back to look for my friends and met up with Eugene who gave me $50 bucks cash as my b'day pressie. "go get yourself a nice dress"-that's what he said.Whoopie! Annie was being plain naughty that she used my phone to sms my ex. Anyway, don't think he would ever find out. So what if he did...
Went to a church wedding on Saturday- my last day in Singapore. Was honoured to spend it with Naomi. Haven't seen this friend of mine who met her husband at a special school education teacher. She can ever be so patience towards the disabled ppl. Saw their personal lives video prior ceremony....it was really amazing to witness how two different human beings are able to merge their lives into one.
Spent the rest of the night resting and getting ready to depart for Perth again.

I haven't met KH for at least 5 years or so. Finally, after talking so much over the icq, we met at OLIO @Suntec. Seriously, I don't even have the slightest idea of where Olio is. KH was gentlemanly enough to gimme a treat. Think I deserve it and after all, I am always cracking my small brain on giving suggestions or helping him to make plans for his g.f.
Last Thursday was my last day at work. The clerk said she will miss my presence around. The assistance nurse is nice to buy me fruits after lunch. Went up to the ward where I used to be a nurse and bid farewell to the nursing officer. I manage to feed the baby guppies before I left the clinic. Met up with JT after work coz he's on call on Sat.*sigh* He was nice enough to bring me to Holland V for dinner as requested. I can't ask for more...
In fact, some patients also asked me why I am not staying longer....talking about patients always make my heart go weak. Patients (can be nasty or not) are the ones who keep me up and out in the morning..No matter how tired I am.
Recap bus stop incident:
How can Singaporeans being so not empathic? There is this old man coming up to the bus and yet no one let him have a seat. Can't afford to continue to watch such ugly scene, I simply just pointed to that auntie and told the uncle to sit there. Of course, that auntie gave up her seat for the old man almost immediately. Come on, is it necessary for her to consider that long to give up the seat for the needy? Some people...
What's happening on the last Friday
Thank goodness. I got a chance to sleep in till late. I am so lacking of sleep and that explained my big panda eyes that refuses to go away. Met up with Vien and took a train to Raffles to meet Annie for lunch. Haven't seen Annie for donkey years and she looked great and yakking quickly as ever. Raffles MRT has changed so much..... Then, Vien and myself went Orchard for shopping therapy. Bought books, shoes and clothes......bad girl.
Around....
gonna sleep.

Continuation on blog from Singapore
I think working in Singapore can be quite hectic. Besides working the usual 5 days from 8.30-5.30pm, I would only get a chance to meet friends after work. My philosophy is to make use of the opportunity to earn $ while still young. Of course, I wouldn't want to grow old and live in poverty.
So glad to catch up with friends again here and there. Uhm..I have to admit that I still got a small portion that I haven't catch up yet.
Meeting up with Zena was lovely just before she returned to Uk to finish her med degree. It's funny how we met up initially was in Perth, then in Singapore and hopefully, London will be our next meeting place. Esther and Dan were my nursing buddies - how can i ever be thankful for their friendship and generousity. Dan bought me a pair of Swaovsky(dunno how to spell) earrings while Esther got me some italian brand toiletries with a BOND CD for my birthday. Also went out with Wen and Lyn on my b'day night to Indochin -quite a cool jazzy place. The strawberry daquari was kinda strong though.
Jess bought me Turkish lunch at Eastpoint.Gosh, think we had an over-dosed of chicken meals that day.Beri and Susan planned a surprise b'day pinic for me at East Coast. Very very sweet of them to bring a bottle of wine, more bbq chicken +chip = quite a fatty meal. The b'day bonous was a OSIM eyecare massager.*lol* Eugene was more direct. He gave me cash and asked to buy a dress myself ;p
I had a good time spent with JT. The night before I left for Hongkong, we went out for dinner+pool at Chinese swimming club after work. Uh, it's amazing how many familar faces you can bump into. Firstly, it's the medical secretary to his sec friend and a cardio reg.Again, I enjoyed the pool session best and no doubt I am not so good in it.
Be back later....

Blog from Singapore
It's been 2 weeks since I am back in Singapore. Things have been going pretty well except for the hot and humid weather. The best thing is meeting up with lotsa friends that I've not catch up for the past 2 years or so. In fact, at this moment, I am running out of time to meet more friends. Sure enough, the nightlife in Singapore is still the best which can't be compared to Perth at all. Met up with all the relatives on mom's side (including the cousins in M'sia)and I was given a nice prata mamak treat from my cousins. Since they bought a new car in M'sia, we managed to go Kulai for quickie shopping before returning home to Singapore. What a shame that I didn't manage to stay longer enough at Cousin Ling's place :<
Met up with JT for movie and dinner. Sigh* How can JT don't have a g.f? Sometimes I wonder coz he is always so patience and good matured in character.Of course, had a dinner meet up with my sistas and ET at Lao Beijing resturant followed by Chinajump. That jump place is filled with too many ang mohs but as long as there is free flow of drinks-who really cares anyway.
Later of the week, g.fs and some dudes decided to go to Balaclava for drinks. Uhm, think we over-drank till I am so "seh" or "nua" the next day. I guess E is very happy when it comes to drinking. She appeared to be more relax and smiling after a couple of rounds. W is really sweet to send me to work almost everyday. It's a good chance for us to communicate while going off to work together.
Beri and susan- my 2 sports buddies had a up close and personal cable car dinner.........
to be continued. I am off work!! Don't want to OT for nothing.

Moved!
Still no internet connection until the 9th Feb. One more week to go before I get my butt on the flight back to Singapore.I am missing my family, friends and best thing is, Eileen smsed me to say that she has arranged an expendition for the g.fs. Meaning of expendition is we'll usually organised an activity of cycling trip up across Benjamine Shears Bridge or sentosa beach volleyball. Everything is going on pretty ok but I guess, this isn't my first time sharing a house with other people so it's not biggie to me if the mates have their own way of doing things. Frankly speaking, learning how to live with other people for the past few years has mold me into someone who is more patience, more forgiving, more easy going, and learn to say 'no'. The only thing I can't stand is when someone whinges or complains too much. If for a good reason, that's fine with me. But when the whinge gets overloaded on my ears, what would you choose to do readers? For me, I would walk away. Why I should make my ears so unbearable to such irritants.
J rang me 2 days ago and let me know that he has bought a private practice in Castlehills, Northen Sydney. This is a piece of good news which means, once he is settled at the practice, he 'may' offer me a job. Approximately 80% load of patients are for biomechanics rather than doing nails nails nails all the time.
Went for a open air movie last night with Preema, Steve and Freda. Not too bad for a price of 10 bucks 2 movies (Mr Incredible and Ella Enchanted).

Moving starts over this weekend
Ok, after this week, no more internet till the connection is up on 9th Feb. Why? Because that's how Ozzie doing their things.....take ages to do something simple like getting a line fix up. Geez, I feel as if I am gonna go through a period of cold turkey without internet. U know, one can get symptoms like shaking fingers, unknown tremours, high anxiety level coz don't know how to kill time especially at night.
Or perhaps, I should take prozac to keep myself happy or valium to concuss on bed early.
I am still packing....the stuffs are amazing. I feel like throwing away more but don't know how. All seems to be very useful to me.

Road rage shall not be tolerated
I wonder why the Ozzies like to hog up on one lane even thought there are 2 lanes going in the same direction. I decided to change lane since I am kinda stuck in the line of cars and yet no one is willing to make a move to the next lane. So I checked the road lines (making sure overtaking is legal), sigalled at least 3 secs and check my blind spot before swerving my wheel. Who knows, half way through the turning, this maroon family car just speed up behind me. At this moment of time, i can't leave my half way steered wheel there so might as well changed to the lane as quickly as possible. Bear in mind that the speed limit on that road is only 60km/hr.
Just less than 10 seconds later, we stopped at the red traffic light. She was behind my car , pointing her middle finger as I can see from the front mirror. The next thing was she jumped out of her car , leaving her young passengers in car seats, came up to me and gave a whack on my car windscreen. Geez, her knuckles must be in real pain. She just speed off in her family car after that. Of course, she almost ruined my day but I did submit an incident report to the police.
Ozzie polices are ..uhm..so inefficient. This Mr Police told me that unless I decided to get her to court then they will follow it through. But I reckon, the police should at least show some warnings to her that it is wrong to road rage and endangering her kids in the car. The thing is I am going back to Singapore also........going to court is quite troublesome here plus it can take up to months for the court to be avaliable. There has got to be more efficient ways to handle these trivial but important matters. Then again, their brains are probably stuffed up with too many hamburgers and snags (hotdogs).
Ok, that added another 'Xiaoren' for me to hit on the list. Curse her to have laosai for weeks.

My best friend's wedding in June
As you can see from the title, one of my sistas getting married in June. So have to save up for a trip to Singapore by then. Ohh, just happened to walk by this shop which is having 50% storewide. I ended up buying a dress where I can wear to the dinner. A bit sexy with a ribbon in the front. Sequine beads are attached at the bottom of the dress. It also comes with adjustable bra straps and most importantly, the price was reduced from AU$49 to AU$14.50. I've attached a pic all those who wonder how it looks like.
Spent some time last night trying to summarise a case study to a senior podiatrist. Poor dude, he has been having infected toes for almost 2 years.
When the next week comes, i'll be pretty busy sorting out my mails and telephone. bugger*
Right now I need a good shower especially after being covered with sand and sea.

My temper & My 1st solo surgery
One of the prisoners exceeded my limit of patience yesterday. "GO AWAY"- raising my voice without even looking at him. He told me his problems and expect me to follow his treatment regime. What the hell I am here for in the first place. The conclusion was he wanted me to write a letter of referral to allow him to have his shoes from the property to be taken out. The prisons have strict rules that I can only do what I can. Unless some poor chaps having deformed feet or losing a toes, that's when I'll only write a medical referral to the supervisor. Hate being manipulated by these people.#$*%U)^(
Oh! I've done a total nail avulsion on a big toe on someone on my own. Feel so proud of myself now. TEEHEE!!
I missed I but I hate his guts. My friend even called him slack prick with no respect. But I am going to write a 'final' letter to him - once and for all to tell him I actually missed him. Uhm, well, like what my friend said, he should be flattered that someone is missing him. I mean , it's not everyday that you get messages like I missed you. Morever it took me a while before deciding to write or not. Then again, I feel that I've got nothing to lose. In regardless of the outcome, I am prepared mentally. At least, I've done my best part of it. I must always tell myself don't procrastinate to get things done because life is too short.
I may have been swept away by the Tusnami if it did strike 4 years ago in Phuket. I was standing and relaxing Patong Beach and now, the beautiful images of the island can only remain in my memories.
So here, I've learnt to be more upfront with my feelings rather than hide it at the bottom of my heart...

Got house but no phoneline
That's one of my criteria of getting a room in a house. Must have phoneline socket. Hopefully things will work it out with the landlord on Tue. If not, I'll probably stuffed up.
Working with so many oldies, many of them like to ask me if I've got any boyfriend and somewhat, they will start to relate their enduring love stories to me. Think I should start writing and compile them into a book.Who knows, I may make a profit out of it.

Love story of the week:
(*names have been changed to protect the privacy act)
Mrs Raj who is a chronic arthritis sufferer, stepped into the clinic 2 days ago for the first time to get her feet treated. "I was born in India in the 1930s," as she continued with a strong indian accent. "My dad passed away when I was only 11. It's only natural for my mom to be protective of me."
ME:" so your husband came along with you to Australia?"
Mrs Raj paused for a moment before she began her next sentence. " I was married to an English man and he died of cancer 4 years ago. I still miss him very much. He takes good care of me especially when I am sick. I think of him when I go for my Doctor's appointments. He was a good man. Before he died, he told my children to take care of me."
ME:" how did you get away from the olden times of India to marry a white guy?"
Mrs Raj:" I met him through a friend's friend. He was in the cricket team. He actually changed from staying in Royal English Force to Royal India Force to be with me. Even though I didn't want to stay in England, it was too cold for me. I told my mom I can trust him. But there were a lot of misconceptions of white guys being flirty, sex and sleep around. I had the best time of my life."
ME: trying hard not to sniff behind my mask.

NO HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cham cham cham. Weather is extremely hot today with a high temperature of 38 degrees celsius. Forest fires are happening on certain parts of the Perth today and even threaten people's lives or houses to the extend. Smoke and haze have been going around suffocating my nose.
Wanna go swimming later the afternoon. Guess what? KNN- the weather becomes gloomy and hot. The moment I get into the ladies change room, the announcement came on like this:" All people please get out of pool now as there is a lightening strike." Damn...... I asked for a refund then and went home.
How fun is that.
Oh one of my patients particularly like to ask me this question:" have you found yourself a boyfriend?".
*sigh*
I wish I can say something else than a 'no'.

I'm getting wrathful......
No news on the house. At a point I feel like grabbing a newspaper and start driving around to look a decent place on my own. Throughout my stay in Perth, I've never across so much trouble to look a house to stay. Right now, it is such a long tendious process. Suggestion on a long list of houses is impractical and time consuming.Rather, it is also difficult to tell people to be realistic with the options of choosing the houses as we know we are all different in certain ways. By the way, I tend to choose to live close by for easy access to many places (for instance is my boss place). Driving up to 2-3 destinations to work in a day can be quite tiring and the last thing on my mind is going home fast and rest. Then again, some people think just because I drive and that doesn't make a difference.
Ohh yes, the differences are petrol fees, time, accessibility .....
On the other hand, why I am explaining so much here.?Guess the true drivers would understand how I feel.
Went over to a g.f's place for dinner. Don't know what's got into her head, her expession of speech plus usage of words are not so friendly. I chose to keep quiet. No point arguing with someone not in the right state of mind. There are just some people out there who doesn't think before they open their mouths...

Luck-less
No luck with the house yet. Just walking via different house agents to get some list for rental properties. Wish me luck once more *again*. Left about 2 weeks to search for my new 'home'.
Otherwise, things are pretty much the same. I'm looking forward to meet my vast amount of friends back home and family. It's always nice to be back to the home nest minus Dad's/Mom's nagging. Eugene rang me yesterday but I was driving like 10okm/hr on the freeway. Subsequently, we still managed to chat up a little over the net on that night itself. Ohhh, I got myself a job as a locum podiatrist in Singapore! The bling bling is good and I can't complained much. Well, that would really come in handy since I have my mobile, rent, internet, credit card, bills to pay prior leaving. Soon, it will be the car insurance, professional indemnity insurance and car registration to pay in the upcoming months. That's how I plan my financial status - always take a step ahead in term of money matters.
I wanna go on holiday when I'm back in Singapore if possible. Thinking about 4 days Hongkong or just China. Still got mambo and clubbing with my bro and g.fs, and cousins. cham cham. Not sure shall I paste a forum to meet travelling friends in singapore or not....
Friendster- realised that I am getting more reply from my old sec school pals! That's great and hopefully will meet them up eventually when I'm back in SG.
Have to ring a surgeon tomorrow to ask her opinion of this very interesting case I've seen at the prison. It's ultra disgusting to look so I shall not harm my readers by putting it up....even though there is a temptation to do that.
I hate missing I...... I need to be stronger than before and I will......What if I ever see him again? How would I react? In fact, after those few nights of writing essays on my notebook, I am thinking less of I.*shrugs*
VN and myself had a little prank. We started to give around her ex-boss number coz he is such an arsehole who doesn't think before he says anything. See, what goes around turn around. VN is one of the rare pals whom I can chat anything under the sun. I can say she is the brainy one ..always full of idea and keen on pressing the gums to release the pus (ya she is a dentist).

Slacking Sunday
Should I change my blog address?
It's funny how people after reading my blog, they turn and twist the 'facts' to another co-friends which resulted me having to answer multiple questions.
Bugger off that. (note that I've put a disclaimer on the homepage)
Anyway, weather was kinda weird today. Wasn't a good day for beach with so much clouds in the sky. Think I'd rather stay at home and throw more junks away.
Oh, haven't found a place to move..boohoo!

Mint-coloured dress
After car servicing, my g.f and myself decided to waste our time shopping in the city. Saw this really nice green mint tube dress and yet not revealing for the price of $54 as reduced from $80. I can never carry off those ultra sexy a -few -pieces -covered -body clothings. Somehow, with my 'decent' looking face, no way I can be more sultry than sweet in those sexy cuts wear. I want a more 'changeable' face! *kidding* - I am happy with what I have anyway. I always prefer to wear brightly coloured clothes than those dull boring colours (eg, shades of grey).
Girlfriend F was lovely to buy me a nice lunch and with one set of meal +drink purchased, we get to sing an hour of karaoke. *chuckles* . F also took a calender with her by mistake that she thought it was for free. Then again, the stack of calender was piled up next to a collection of free local chinese community newspaper. Too bad for the boss then.
Tried Smsing the landlord to view the potential house and yet heard nothing from him/her. Bah.
Oh, someone apparently scratched my car.........What goes around, comes around. Curse him/her hands to be chopped off by someone or preferably, let them turn ill rotten and gangrenous. Whoever you are, you deserve it.
Back to ebay's business......

More missons to be accomplished
OOoook, my mom has left Perth for Singapore today. This afternoon, we went to tour agency to book my flight back to Singapore on Valentine's day. Isn't that great that I can avoid to see those lovey dovey couples on the streets. At least I get to enjoy half of the day flying inthe air while busy switching between channels on the SQ's inflight entertaiment.
So that's mission accomplished number 1.
Next, house hunting begins from now onwards. Dateline is to move out at the end of the month. The thought of calling those agents, emailing, oragnise time to view, and driving around make me wanna puke. Bah*In addition, i;ve got about 20 organisations to report for changing of my address. Some required a formal letter to be written too. *double bah*
I've written 2 complaint emails to the following employees. If nothing or the matter of me not getting paid has not resolved, I will write a formal letter to the Wageline. So that people will learn not to take my service for granted.
Think my hormone level is fluctuating'. I just wanna to be left alone and not sure why, I always enjoy shopping, fixing stuffs or doing things myself. Not say that I am a selfish person but seriously, I would rather look at peace and traquility that resent on my mind.I would prefer to ask for help if I really need to. Should I say that maybe I do possess a strong independence character.
The search for a house continues....*yawns*
Woos
Pays from prisons are not coming in on time. I think my level of patience is exceeding beyong my limits. I am going to ring the Ministry of Treasury and blurt at them for their inefficiencies. That would be the first thing to do in the morning.
Next, remember to ring to pay for the medical supplies via credit card deduction.
I am moving out soon to stay with another girlfriend. So I shall say goodbye to the student accomodation housing at the end of month. Tee hee. Got all my boxes prepared and anytime I am ready to pack up.
Need to start working hard in the month of Jan.I am going back to Singapore on Valentine's Day but I've yet paid for the ticket.
Oh, I've just receieved a letter from the podiatry assocation saying that now podiatrists are allowed to use the title 'Dr' but at the end of the name must have the word '(podiatrist)' if one fufill the criteria as below: Masters holder, 4 years postgrad experience, must register in Australia and so on. In addition, those podiatrists who are certified to do acupuncture on foot and ankle (mainly) are allowed as long as they follow the sterility and legisation rules hold by the board.

Tim Sum Buffet $11 per head
So full on my tum tum! Didn't had any dinner or lunch because I had a huge tim sum buffet feast with mom and my g.f - F. Don't be surprise that our usual tim sum routine is to sit up to 3 hours in the resturant and savouring the food slowly. Not scoffing down those food of course as unlike those 'kiasu' peeps. Guess we had the most rounds of tow huay (beancurd).......almost like 4 bowls per person.
Weather is abit on the cool side today. Thank goodness that I brought a cardi out with me. Actually I always enjoy the weather in their high 20s temperature.
Landlord came over and I had to move out by end of Jan. SO strange. Mr A is able to sign for 6 months lease and I can't. It's funny how the landlord said that someone also want Mr A's room and yet they still allowed him to stay on. Anyway, I had enough of staying with students. So goodluck to the landlord if she can find 2 people to move in straight as soon as possible. Moving is such a big hassel...the thought of driving around to look for a decent place to stay is such a pain in my head and a**.
Need to edit the pics from the trip in Kalgoorlie and hopefully I can find time to paste it on my Virtual tourist website soon.
JS showed me this ultra cool website: http://web.canon.jp/Imaging/astro/pages_e/01_e.html

Happy New Year 2005
In fact, I didn't stay up late to welcome the new year. The neck pain and headache have been bugging me since yesterday. All I want is to rest. Hitting onto the bed by 9pm and woke up like 8yish in the morning. Mom made some breakfast and I feel like going back to bed again. Don't know why as I grow older, I need more sleep.Perhaps, I also need to identify several tactics to rejuvenate myself. (*hint: resolution number 1).
Since I've got my permanent residency, the resolution number 2 is getting a full job. There are jobs everywhere and it's just a matter of where one wanna work.Something to think about...
Resolution number 3: save save save! For my ultimate Euro dream in 06 and a nice apartment.
Resolution number 4: Pack my junks.
A short family history:
My maternal grandma is brought up by fosters parents where they also had 2 daughters themselves. My m.grandma is considered the youngest among the sisters then. Her foster parents also brought back another son but eventually he decided to return to his own natural parents. My grandma is supposedly leading a very comfortable life after she got married her husband who owned a small grocery shop. When WWII broke out, Japanese invaded Malaya where most of the men fleed into the forest to hide. That's how my grandma never see from grandad again. At that time, she already had her 1st child ( my uncle). Later on, my grandma married her 2nd husband who works as a rubber tapper. Together with my grandma, they brought up another 2 children (2nd uncle and my mom). How interesting.......I wish I can dig out more about the ancestry past.

Last Christmas I gave you my heart......-Wham!
I saw this ultra retro MTV (original) on Christmas Day itself! I would probably say this is the "best" song for the Christmas. In fact, Christmas is the most boring public holiday for moi I think. On the contrary, this year's christmas, Mom and myself went to the beach and dinner with a few girlfriends at my place. The menu includes green salad with Italian/caesar dressing, roast turkey and potato salad with fruit jelly desserts.
On boxing day, Mom and myself went to Fremantle market. Not much places to hang around especially the post christmas sale doesn't start until after 27th Dec. Unlike the places in Melbourne/Sydney, Perth needs to buck up on their retail trading hours to cater people like me. Weather is extremely hot here too.....like 38 degrees celsius.
Need to pack up stuffs to leave for a trip tomorrow. Whee whee!

110km/hr
I realised that I love to drive fast! I don't , in fact, worry about going on long distance trips to work even. The thrill, the speed, the acceleration make me just want to keep on going for a while in the car.
Festive season is just around the corner. I've received the most X;mas cards this year and gifts too. Hee!
This is going to be a short entry. I've been so busy with getting medical stocks, household chores, work, grocery shopping and shopping. Now i seriously need some REAL beauty sleep.
Pretty boring life uh..unlike some bloggers I've come across where they can chat anything on men under the sun.

Finally.....my permanent residency in Australia
Yippee, finally I've received my PR for Aussie now. So, no more application of visa in and out of Australia. What a relief indeed. Haven't had the time to reveal the good news to some of my good friends out there. I suppose it's about time I write an update soon- by tomorrow perhaps. In fact, I am not sure where I want my career to be. Feel like relocate if necessary but not toplaces like Tazmania or Melbourne. Too drastic weather changes will affect my mood.
As Christmas is just hanging around the corner, I went to do a mega grocery shopping. Having a mini girls party at my place (with my mom coming on 24th!). Menu will include a roast turkey breast, salads, potatoes, desserts (balvarian cake).
I'll be off to kalgoorlie with Mom on 27th Dec for a short vacation.
I've received quite a number of cards from friends all over the places and 2 gifts (one from SG and the other from New Zeland). Not a bad christmas after all ;p I am not complaining. I wish i can have the whole collection of books by Nicholas Sparks. Too impressed with the film called NOTEBOOK.
Anyway, feeling quite exhausted as I've spent the whole morning running around.
First to Medical supplier, apply Medicare card (health benefit card that entitle me to have discounted medical rates), grocery, dropping off present at an ex patient's house (the oldies sent me a card..owww), picking up instruments from Cara.
Also washed my car and did a bit of book keeping on my accounts. Still got ironing to go ...............

Pimple extractions
On the first hand news, I may have to move house. Landlord wanted to increase the rent to 100 bucks a week which I find it quite unacceptable for a small room like this in a double storey townhouse. Plus ,another requirement of signing one year lease which I totally dislike the idea.
oh most likely I'll be sharing with my g.f, F. Seems that we are fated to move man.....
Pimple extractions was done during my facial today. So soothing after that. Don't even feel like getting out of that 'bed'. I prefer the new beauty salon than the previous location. It's amazing how the K (my beautician) told me that one of the ex-clients has actually "stolen" their former location by trying to find out the lease. Then what's worst was this ex client engaged another beautician to set up another salon then. Tsk...human beings can be so evil and incorrigible at times.
Set up a list of food for Xmas dinner. Can't wait for next week to arrive........I feel so slack...

2 more X'mas cards!
Eli, if you are reading this, I just wanna say that thanks for the lovely christmas card. I am glad that you are there to listen too! We'll meet someday yeah?
Jen from KL also sent me a X'mas card. Whee! This Polish dude from VT claimed that he wanted to send me a postcard which I'll be waiting then!
Perth is suffering from a heatwave today of temperature raising to 41 degrees celsius. So after work, I rather stay at home with the A/C on. Coming to an end of year means I've got credit card subscription fee, car servicing, podiatrist registration, and now travel fees.
I am going to Kalgoorlie with mom in December and so what it is stinky hot. I'm gonna book for the train tickets and hotel bookings tomorrow. How exciting for a gateaway. Wish the bling bling ($) comes in faster. I am getting bored of Perth......
Had a cut/wash/colour/blow on my hair yesterday. The colour looks so more "lian". I got the urge of going for a chin length bob in my next hair salon visit. A bit tired seeing my long hair plus I detest the myth of having longer hair means more sexy??
Retail therapy starts this weekend and facial for me tomorrow. I need to rejuvate myself.....

Would you settle for Mr Rightish or Mr Just-Nice only?
Managed to wake up early just to catch one show only "The Notebook" at Queensgate, Fremantle. Seriously, I have no idea where exactly the movie theatre was so I just sort of approached the lady while we were waiting at the traffic light. This show has been highly recommended by my oz mates. Baseline of the story is "every great love there is a great love story."I wouldn't categorize this film under your old typical 'love story' movie. Initially there were like 3 peeps in the cinema and then half way the previews came along another couple. Feeling sorry for myself going to theatre without a partner? Nope. Doesn't really worry me as my objective is to watch the movie and nothing else. The best part would be not letting any body catch me in my dreadful sniffing during the show. At the end of the show, I just wish if only I can hear some fabulous love stories of how my grandparents got together. I never have a clue. With the only maternal grandma in her 80s now, I doubt she can remember as much.
Besides the touching film, I saw a few potential books which I wanna get it:
1) Book of elegance- teaching you the terms on apparel and wearing things at the right time.
2) He's just not into you- by sex of the city's authors , I had a good laugh reading the first few pages. If only this book exists in the library.....
3) The Notebook - by Nicholas Sparks. After watching the movie just simply brings me looking forward to read more about it.
4) Travel books/Stories and now I am currently reading Anna's Point of Departure. It describes how the divorced mid-50s lady with grown up kids goes travelling around the world plus what she sees and experienced.
I hope singles out there don't start panicking about not getting married or getting a mate. It's not that bad and who says everything is too late at the age of 26?? If one's life expectancy is at 80, even you are married at 40, you would still have 40 years of togetherness. SO why hurry and love for the sake of loving?

Dreadful Friday
Supposed to work in Merriwa in the morning. However, things doesn't seem to go right when you want it to be. Feeling nauseous and headache. Then I started to rench and of course, nothing comes out of an empty stomach. Headache mainly at the occiput areas. Rang boss and let her know that I can't work and luckily, she gave me her local GP number which doesn't require an appointment time. I think it's quite sux when you need to see a Dr ASAP here and yet a booking needs to be made prior. So I drove myself with a huge amount of tendious efforts like stopping at intervals (along the side of the road) and vomit into a plastic bag. Feel totally 100% sh*t. Reached the GP and he gave me a Maxalon inj. on my bum (OUUUUCH) and a few complimentary NSAIDS for my headache. Spent the whole day in bed and feeling lethargic -this is what happened when I took Maxalon. My boss was nice and she offered me a ride to see a Dr. But, I feel bad coz she got 2 small kids to handle too.
Took a lot of mental coaxing and determination to reach there (dr's) actually.
Received my first Christmas present from Susan posted from New Zeland! Wheee!! So nice of her to give me a set of bikini deck cards and a sovenior with a lovely card. Hope to catch up with her soon. Received 3 Xmas cards so far. One from England, my ex patient and Arizona.
Annie going off to Norway tomorrow and I am pretty sure she'll have lotsa fun.

House painting
Mic's house needed help to paint the walls. So, Miss F and myself went over his place in the morning to start painting at the laundry and extended dining area. Weather was quite chilly today in fact so we just had to forgo the beach outing in the later part of the day. Mic- I will label him as Mr Frugal. It's not a bad thing but it's an excellent point for anyone who is going to be his wifey in near future. Mr Frugal made lunch and dinner for us at his place and no doubt, we wanted to have the makan outside instead. He did gave us the options to eat outside from his shout. The options, however, always "disappeared" towards the meal times. In fact, Mr Frugal then suggested to have cakes and coffee at a local bookstore cafe nearby - yes, that was his treat. I am not complaining much in the sense it's just strange to see how people open up their options and yet, they don't usually meant what they say.
Later in the eveing, Mr Frugal rented DVDs instead of deciding to go out movies with us.
Mr Frugal is not a poor man to the point that he is not living on a dole or getting money from centrelink. Somehow, I just feel that he is not being generous enough. If he's living on the pension, I can truly understand why. But, I guess he wouldn't be living up to his name if he didn't have such character in himself. By the way, Mr Frugal is still looking for his soulmate.
I am not in the position to judge his character but only to express my perceptions on him.
Someone out there will like his frugality? He's still single.................
He's definitely not for me.
Money is not everything but I believe if one has the power to earn a decent salary every month, why can't one spend a few couple bucks and enjoy good quality times with friends?

QUIT
Needless to say, I've quitted at the private practice within 5 minutes of meeting with the Boss.
This is how he begin with the conversation:
Boss:" I think this is not working out. And I think it's a waste of time for you to be here and not many patients booked in. But some patients do like you. You are better off to work in the hospital where your interest is."
Me (listening to his conversation intensively):" That's ok with me. I've already given some thoughts into it. Working in the hospital is not easy to get the job." - What the *uck he has the right to tell me where to work. Totally none of his business anyway.
Boss:" well, you can stop working today or whenever."
Me:" sounds good. I aint got a problem with that. That's it."
Gotta go since my last patient is here waiting for me.
What kind of boss he is to just "delete" me off like this. As I've mentioned earlier on, I always feel there is an unpleasant intense working with his wife. And his looks give me creep and now I am having goose bumps when I think of it.
Right now, I feel a lot happier and less uptight or should I say, no more ironing the stupid uniform. I've asked the patients before whether he can identify who is who working in the clinic. The receptionists wear a lighter blue and opposed to a podiatrist. The colour contrast makes no difference.
After treating the last patient, his wife claimed the boss wanted to speak to me. *oh my god, no more 'lectures'. Anyway, I just gave an excuse that I need to leave for another job in the afternoon. Can't be bothered to stay on and listen to craps. The only thing I've learnt here is having my patience level built up.
Seriously thinking, he 'pampered' the patients too much. It's like teaching a child from a start. If a child cries, you gave him a sweet to subside the wails. If the child cries louder, you probably end up giving in double. In this way, a child will never let you take control of him/her.
Poor Friend F suffered from some hives on her skin. Drove to get some meds for her. Damn those anti-histamines are so expensive. 7 Tabs for AUST$13.50!!?? Anyway, I understand the misery of having hives where it can just mess up your day doing nothing but itch.
That's it."

Confusion
Firstly, she said I have stayed in Perth so long and would know the roads a lot better. But when I commented that I should go home first (by judging the route which our common friend took) , she was so defensive and insisted that we should send to her destination first. At this point, I should have shut up, not going against her. Sometimes I do realise that it's hard to convince people the truth even you jolly know THAT's the truth. It's even harder to convince when one is not even in the shoes of a driver.
Well, I've been driving since the age of 19 and more or less, is better off as compared to a novice driver.
It just doesn't make sense and wasting my time blabbering for pete's sake.
The problem with her is she don't listen -properly enough. She will only listen to people whom she think can advise her well. Probably that's where our communication always break down. I am also unsure is it because I am trying to hard to console her or whatever. To the point, I keep reminding myself to draw a line across to avoid treating her too nicely.
I do feel sorry for her too when things get hiccups and sometimes, you just wish if only she takes your advice much earlier on. Now, this is the shi* part.
'kindness doesn't pay"- Is this statement true or not?
Tomorrow the usual gang will be watching a movie. I think I'll keep my mouth shut whether if things go wrong or not.

Evil nurse & weekend randoms
Friday:
Drove down to Mandura approximately about 75kms from Perth. The volunteer (as a receptionist) was late and I thought I might to juggle in between treating the patients, making appointments and collecting money or even handling phonecalls. I find that all the volunteers are really queer. They make comments about me in front of the patients after i've treated them. " Gee, she is rather quick in her treatments." "She is running ahead of time". Wondering what the f*ck is wrong with these people. I am quick because there is nothing abnormally wrong in your feet. Next, I wanna be on time and NOT losing time if possible. Each patient are entitled 20 minutes of care only. I can't really bothered talking back to the volunteer which besides, she is quite old enough. I don't to be labelled as a elderly bully for whatever sh*t reasons.
Saturday:
Since Christmas is just around the corner, I decided to work on Saturday. Going to the country Northam 95km east of Perth. I've been there twice and I didn't take a country road map with me. Based on memory for as far as I can recall, I managed to find my way there without too much fuss. The highlight of my blog started here: This bad nurse from a nursing home asked me to remove my stuffs off HER trolley. She sounded rather desperate so I let her have her way then. Next, telling me off rudely to see a patient on the OTHER side of nursing home. With her inital incorrigible behaviour/manners, I just told her that I'll see how it goes later. Advised to put a dressing on that lady's toe first and someone is coming to the nursing home to work on following monday too. Later, she brought in another staff and asked me to repeat what I've said so that she ca document it down that i refused to see the patient. At this point, she is driving me to the maximum limit of my patience. I told her off to write whatever she wants while in my mind, i've already decided to see the patient later. She is just too much..........then again, her husband probably didn't give her a good night ...that's why.
This is what I wrote in the paitent's note as showed partially:" Informed by a rude nurse to see this patient urgently........
HMPH* sorry I don't take craps and I also don't expect people to take mine.
Dinner was with Dave and his beloved. The dinner was great but it was rather a chilly night where the girls are seen wearing their tubes and skimpy skirts battling against the cold weather. Losers.
Sunday:
Woke up late but still have time to dress up for a lunch date with other fellow podiatrists. It was great meeting other people (all ladies) while enjoying a succulent WA seafood risotto and chocolate panacotta with pistacio bacalva...plus..too many glasses of champagne and wines.
Feeling sleepy...

Kah-Ching Ching!
Off today because there is only one patient in the private clinic. Might as well re -scheduled the pt then. I am not willing to go all the way to see just one client. With the bling bling starts to roll into my account, (WIDE GRIN) I decided to go for an Xmas spree.
First checkpoint is at Marko warehouse where everything is 20% off today. Bought toilet rolls, paper rolls, xmas chocs, hair conditioner, toothbrush, chewing gums, diary, cards, earrings only come up to an amount of $18. Hee hee! I've been good though where I didn't spend any money on clothes. Wanna save up the money for post christmas sale instead.
Things I want for Christmas (revised edition):
1) Shoes from ZU ( saw a pair of flats in soft green colour/pink also nice....)
2) Levis jean - so difficult to find a pair of jeans in any decent brands in fact.
3) USB
4) Earrings/Brooch - I like anything from Sportsgirl
5) Tote Bag - For work use
6) clinque eye cream SPF15 - only avaliable in Australia
Sounds like a typical girlie who can't get enough of those stuffs.
Booked for my last facial and hair appointments of the year.
Going to work in Country for the next 2 days...gotta sleep early tonight.... :<

Singaporeans are being sympathetic enough or not?
Perhaps not.
I do read the news online back home and there is almost always a small part of the article or actions as described which is indicated by the public are viewed as unsympathetic. (or maybe the word empathic should come in here too).
On a recent post from Straits Time newspaper, the volunteers of ex-leprosy patients are looking for a decent resturant to celebrate the upcoming christmas festive season. In fact, they took weeks to find the makan place who is willing to take in such "people". To my disgust, one of the owners who has been intereviewed of why he refused the "offer" simply because he is running a business. So what if he is running a business, the patients are EX-leprosy and it's unlike going around to infect his potential customers. People seem to be quick in their judgements after hearing the first sentence /keyword - leprosy. Maybe one day he will get his own taste of 'medicine'. It's quite disappointing of seeing how Singaporeans only care for themselves especially on their personal gains.
Part 2:
Bloody housemate had the air conditioning on even though it's only MAX:27 degrees today. I think either he has a hormonal problem or he's too pampered. He can't even take care of himself - no cook, no drive, no wash clothes for ages, gaining weight. He's one of the most lazy ass-s I've ever seen. No help out of the house AT ALL. Well, some people are just born filthy rich and think he has the world by himself. Not eating sour grape syndrome but I feel sorry for him instead if he does have such thought.
Part3:
So dreadful going to work today. The patient arrived at 9am instead of 8am. The receptionist didn't ring me and I just hang around trying to keep myself awake while waiting. I am getting very very restless working in that practice. So BORING.
Perhaps not.
